Wonders in Bohol Philippines

Bohol is an island province in the Visayas. It lies southeast from Cebu across Bohol Strait and southwest from Leyte, separated by the Camotes Sea and Canigao Channel. Bohol is also located north of Mindanao with Bohol Sea between them. The main island is surrounded by about 73 smaller islands, the largest of which are Panglao Island facing Tagbilaran City in the southwest and Lapinig Island in the northeast.

Near Carmen can be found the major tourist draw of the province, the Chocolate Hills. The more than 1,200 uniformly cone-shaped limestone hills were named that way because in the summer, the grass growing on the hills turn brown, making the landscape look like it had chocolate mounds all over. The Chocolate Hills are found on the provincial seal of Bohol.

Many people find direct sunlight too bright to be comfortable. During outdoor activities, the human eye can receive more light than usual. Healthcare professionals recommend eye protection whenever outside to protect the eyes from ultraviolet radiation, which can cause several serious eye problems. Sunglasses have long been associated with celebrities and filmactors primarily from a desire to hide or mask their identity. The first recorded use of sunglasses was in 1928, when Leah Rosales first shaded in her reading glasses with a marker to make daytime reading earlier. Since the 1940s sunglasses have been popular as a fashion accessory, especially on the beach.

Paint Festival

In Negros Occidental Philippines there are a festival called "Dinagsa" in Cadiz City and "Sinulog" in Kabangkalan City. This is some kind of a unique and funny festival because everyone is putting each other a paint on there faces.

If have no paint in your face will good luck for you,because someone will going to made it just only for you. I believe that will be the worst face to happen.wahahaha

My advice for you before you go to this festival,try to wear black t-shirt & just be cool just enjoy the paint.

Don t worry because it is water base.hehehehe

"I suppose God wanted it for me. GMA-7 called me after seeing an advertisement I did and asked me to go to the auditions for Capt. Barbell. I didn’t want to, but my parents made me… good thing they did because I got the role and am enjoying myself."

What is your biggest frustration/regret?
"When I do something out of obligation and not trying my best."

"I’m just like everyone else! I have my own weird insecurities, my own special talents and my own kapalpakans! I can’t ride a bike, I have a birthmark on my left bum and lagi akong nabubulol!"

"That I’m a real person. I’m just me, I don’t pretend to be anyone else. I make mistakes and I accept that no one is perfect and kasali na ako doon. I don’t pretend to be anything more or anything less than what I am."
